整机鼓体无升降三点式水平放置使用，是靠独特螺旋鼓口来完成装皮、卸皮、加水、加料、取样等，后置排水阀、集水槽、链轮减速传动系统，可实现洗皮、换水及分流排放，整体内外玻璃钢防腐。
装皮量大：装载率可达到75%以上，耗水极少，一般液比在1：1以上即可满足工艺要求，机械作用适中，鼓内液面可达鼓径3/4以上，因此皮张最大落差只有0.7m左右，且皮液在鼓体转动时呈∞字型作副运动，可减少裂面、松面、黑漆不掉等质量缺陷。操作极轻便，大鼓口下端离地面只有0.8m,可直接装皮、加水、加化料。且小螺旋鼓口是有口无盖，无论正向运转或停止低于液面以下的任何部位均会做到滴水不外溢。反向运转可自动出皮，保证皮张不缠绕、不堵塞，3分钟左右即可全部出净，也是该产品精华之所在。
The drum body is fixed horizontally on three points. Through the special spiral mouth, it can load and unload skins, add water and materials, take inspections etc. There are drainage, water collector and transmission system at the back of drum.
The capacity is large, which can reach above 75% space of the drum. Only 1:1 liquid percentage would meet the technical requirement, the water consumption is small. The liquid in the drum can reach 3/4 level of drum. Therefore the fall of the skins is only 0.7 meter at maximum. The liquid moves as the pattern “8” in the drum, which can reduce skin defects such as grain cracking, loosing and so on.
Its height is only 0.8m from the low lip of the mouth to the ground, which makes skins loaded, water and materials filled very conveniently. The spiral drum’s mouth is small and without cover, no water flow out when it moves around clockwise. If it moves reverse, it can discharge skins automatically. It also guarantees no skins being twined and blocked up. It takes only three minutes to have all the skins discharged, which shows the essence and advantage of the drum.
